Welcome to the Silver Silkie Etsy page, I hope you enjoy looking.
I design and create jewellery using textures and contrast. Working with ancient techniques such as enamelling and Keum Boo, the Korean practice of fusing 24K gold to silver. Taking inspiration from ancient pieces and nature to make the wearer feel as individual as the jewellery they wear.
Handmade in Derbyshire from the highest quality materials and metals, recycled where possible. Fittings, chains and findings are all sterling silver, fine silver, filled (not plated) gold and 24k gold keum boo gold.
